This Privacy Policy explains how Horizon Brands LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit reconcilly.app (the "Site") or purchase the Reconcilly software product (the "Software"). By using the Site or the Software, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you contact us by email, purchase the Software, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:
- Contact information: Name, email address, business name, and any information you choose to share in correspondence.
- Purchase information: Order details and license records associated with your purchase, as provided to us by our payment processor.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects limited technical information necessary to deliver the Site, including IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. This information is used by Cloudflare for security, performance, and analytics purposes under Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any data processed by the Reconcilly software, including but not limited to your Amazon settlement files, QuickBooks journal entries, audit PDFs, chart of accounts, or any financial records. The Software operates entirely on your local computer with no cloud component.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- Delivering and supporting the Software you purchased;
- Responding to your questions, support requests, or feedback;
- Sending you product updates, security notices, and information about new features for the channels you have licensed;
- Complying with legal obligations, including tax and financial recordkeeping;
- Protecting our rights, your safety, and the security of the Site and Software.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Service Providers
We rely on a small number of third-party service providers to operate. Each provider processes information only as needed to deliver their service and is subject to their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare hosts the Site, delivers content, and provides security and basic analytics.
- Lemon Squeezy (operated by Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company) serves as our merchant of record. They process your payment, collect and remit applicable taxes, issue your license key, and provide order receipts. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information directly at checkout. We do not see or store your payment card details.
- Email providers may process emails you send to us at Peter@HorizonBrandsGroup.com for the limited purpose of delivering those messages.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses a minimal set of cookies and equivalent technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies set by Cloudflare to deliver the Site securely and to mitigate abuse.
- Aggregate analytics may be collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
The Site does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or social media trackers.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Purchase records and license records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting regulations (typically seven years). Email correspondence is retained for as long as it remains useful for support purposes, after which it is deleted.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: Ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from any non-essential communications at any time.
- Non-discrimination: We will not penalize you for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and the right to data portability.
7. Children's Privacy
Reconcilly is a business product intended for accountants, bookkeepers, and ecommerce operators. The Site and Software are not directed to children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Because the Software runs locally on your computer, the security of your settlement files and accounting data depends primarily on the security of your own machine. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that any information transmitted to or from the Site is fully protected against interception.
9. International Visitors
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the Site or, where appropriate, by email to customers.
